This price includes RPL and gap training. NOTE: A VET FEE HELP loan is available for eligible students.

This qualification is suited to those working in fields in both the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and ADF regulatory environments in jobs such as avionic maintenance team leaders, maintenance planners, spares assessors, repairable item managers and technical authors and is suitable for RPL/gap training only. It must be emphasised that many of the maintenance management positions applicable to the qualification have additional experience requirements specified in airworthiness regulations and only a limited range of employment opportunities may be available to those who do not have extensive prior aviation maintenance experience. For this reason the qualification has entry requirements:

  • Eleven (11) core units that provide competencies applicable to aviation maintenance managers
  • One (1) or two (2) elective units chosen according to employment need

Note: Credit is provided towards the MEA60215 Advanced Diploma of Aviation Maintenance Management (Mechanical).  This qualification applies to workplaces that operate under the airworthiness regulatory systems of the ADF and CASA.
